As the Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing payroll functions, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee pay and related transactions.Benefits To YouCompetitive Rates - RAAFA Continues to support our people with above award rates.Salary packaging – as a non-profit organisation, you can salary package up to $18,549!Free onsite parking – all sites have free onsite parking with plenty availability!Career & Development Paths – RAAFA offers various ongoing career development opportunities!Employee Assistance Program - Access confidential counselling services for personal or work-related issues!Employee Referral Program - earn bonuses for recommending friends!Discounted Services - including health insurance and gym membership!Corporate Zoo Membership - Visit Perth Zoo for free!Supportive culture - be welcomed into an organisation who provide a supportive, friendly and positive culture within all of our staffing groups!Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end processing of company payrolls (fortnightly)Build and maintain EBA’s, Awards and legislation into Payroll functions and RAAFA’s Award interpretation software, ensuring compliance.Maintain accurate payroll records in accordance with legislation and RAAFA standards.Manage and review the preparation, balancing and reconciliation of PAYE tax.Collaborate with the Finance Team to reconcile FBT, superannuation and payment summaries.Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports, including ad hoc management reports.Monitor the accurate processing of staff appointments, transfers, promotions and terminations.Liaise with staff and management on payroll related queries.What You BringTertiary qualification in Business Administration, Accounting or similar is preferred and/or demonstrated experience.Experience with payroll processing within Aged Care (desirable).Familiarity with Chris21 and Optima is advantageous.Demonstrated experience with end-to-end payroll processes of 1000+ employees.Comprehensive knowledge of National Employment Standard, Modern Awards, EBA’s, Payroll Tax, WorkCover WA legislation and other relevant industry legislation.Solid financial acumen with in-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing.What You Need To DoUpdate your resumeBe eligible to work in AustraliaSatisfactory National Police Certificate (on commencement of employment to be within six months from date of issue) or willing to obtain oneClick “Apply to this Job”For more information, please call us on 08 9288 8400 or email raafarecruitment@raafawa.org.auRAAFA WA reserves the right to withdraw, shortlist and interview applicants prior to this date.
