Whatever it takes.PMO SpecialistOrlando, FL (Onsite)Position SummaryThales is looking for a PMO Specialist – to provide project scheduling and resource planning support using Primavera. Liaison with Program Management (Customer Delivery, Product Delivery and Bid Management), Program Management Office (PMO – CA & FL), Finance, Engineering and Operations to develop and maintain project schedules, resources, and financials (EAC, ETC, etc.). Establish and maintain project data in Primavera, serve as a mentor/coach to other Primavera users and identify when Primavera updates are needed by producing reports/KPIs that identify the status of projects in Primavera using PMBI, SAP, Power BI, etc.In this position, you will also work with other Thales entities globally, i.e., Thales Global Services, NORAM, etc. Other duties include project monitoring and control support that align with the goals and objectives of projects.Key Areas of ResponsibilityDevelop and manage program data/information using various tools (Primavera, PMBI, SAP, Power BI and MS Suite), i.e., deliverables (hardware, software, shipset and aircraft), dashboards, sales orders, BOM/pricing, schedules, purchase orders, program change orders, contractual, risks, opportunities, purchase requisitions, service entry sheets, meeting minutes, action items and more.Support the analysis and management of the Primavera data (performance/progress, resources, and financials).Proactively obtain input from all project team members to support ongoing analysis and forecasting relative to impacts on completion dates, float erosion, and updates to project ETC.Support project meetings (IPT, IPR, CPR, etc.), audits and peer reviews.Assist in maintaining PMO/Program Management processes, tools, templates, forms, checklists, metrics, etc; Support continuous improvement initiatives.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business/finance, engineering or related field with a minimum of 5+ years of work-related experience or Master’s degree in business/finance, engineering or related field with 4+ years of work-related experience.Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; Able to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables.Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.Able to tackle problems, establish facts, work with a team to implement effective solutions and follow-up.Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Proficient in operating common Microsoft applications, i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer at the time of hire.
