As an industry leader, we continue to evolve and expand, and we’re looking for an accomplished Practice Manager to help shape our future success.Position OverviewAs Practice Manager, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring our practice operates smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with our Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL). Your role will encompass the management of daily operations, project delivery, and events, all while driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. You will have some involvement in supporting the Responsible Managers in overseeing the compliance, IT and HR functions of the business.Main ResponsibilitiesEnsure AFSL obligations being met and support RMs: Ability to read and comprehend License requirements, prepare for RM meetings, manage meetings, minutes, signing, filing, taking decisions and actions from the meeting and managing the implementation of them within the business and ability to deal with ASIC.  Business Administration: Maintain third-party relationships, support execution of strategic plans, prepare and manage board documents, and oversee business priorities.Meetings Coordination: Lead management meetings, organise and chair monthly team and management sessions, prepare Director and quarterly adviser meetings, and ensure efficient documentation and outcomes.Project & Innovation Leadership: Champion innovation, manage projects end-to-end, conduct market research, and perform cost-benefit analyses.IT Oversight: Manage onboarding/offboarding, IT procurement and maintenance, security protocols, and oversee software/hardware administration, with the support of an external IT Firm.Human Resources: Assist with recruitment, onboarding, staff development, performance management, conflict resolution, and ensure compliance with employment legislation.Compliance Management: identify, investigate and manage breaches, incidents and complaints, monitor regulatory changes, conduct client file reviews and annual audits.Events Planning: Large event management component, you will get to organise and execute both internal and external events, including annual conferences and client briefings.Operations Support: Resolve ad hoc operational issues, manage staff notifications and leave requests, and uphold data security and privacy standards.Key Skills and QualificationsLeadership: Proven capability to motivate teams, support performance, and provide effective solutions for complex queries.Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with strong listening abilities and facilitation expertise.Strategic Approach: Ability to align practice operations with business objectives, address challenges, and leverage opportunities.Technical Skills: Very IT savvy. Can teach others how to use technology. Has a passion for harnessing technology and AI to drive efficiency.Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance, risk management, and industry standards of the financial advice industry.
