On the land side, Roll Group operates a large number of modern heavy-lift cranes with capacities of up to 4,000 tonnes, Self-Propelled Modular Trailers (SPMTs) and conventional trailers. The specific characteristics of Roll Group’s asset base ensure the ability to serve a wide range of markets, such as Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy.PositionAs Procurement Manager you are responsible for developing and coordinating procurement strategies, managing contracts and suppliers, and ensuring an effective and consistent procurement process across the organization. You work closely with management and project teams to translate business needs into clear sourcing strategies.You will lead and support the Senior Procurement Specialist and help establish structure, consistency and clarity within a dynamic and evolving environment. A pragmatic and organized working style is essential for this role.Your responsibilities include:Developing, maintaining and coordinating procurement strategies across regions.Negotiating and managing contracts and service level agreements.Building and maintaining supplier relationships and monitoring performance.Acting as a business partner to management and project teams.Monitoring market developments and sharing relevant insights.Defining and monitoring procurement KPIs.Supporting sustainability and social responsibility objectives (ISO 20400:2017).Overseeing procurement systems (ERP, SRM, e-sourcing) and ensuring data integrity.Identifying and mitigating procurement risks.Reporting on procurement performance and supplier spend.Your qualificationsTo excel in this role, you'll need:Bachelor’s degree in (Technical) Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics or Commercial Law.6–8 years of relevant experience in strategic or tactical procurement, ideally in a technical or project-based environment.A professional procurement qualification (e.g. NEVI) is considered an advantage but not required.Experience with contract management, supplier performance management and risk mitigation.Leadership experience and the ability to coach team members.Experience with ERP systems, preferably in a project organization.Strong analytical and communication skills.Structured, pragmatic and business-driven working style.Fluent in English (verbal and written).Willingness to travel abroad.What we offerChallenging and varied work (full-time) at a fast-growing international company.
