The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing procurement processes for our roads infrastructure projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services.Develop and implement procurement strategies for roads operations and maintenance projectsManage the entire procurement lifecycle, from requisition to contract closureConduct market research and vendor evaluations to identify potential suppliersNegotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure optimal terms and conditionsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and specificationsEnsure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and international procurement standardsAnalyze spend data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunitiesManage vendor relationships and performance evaluationsCoordinate with finance and legal departments to resolve contractual issuesMaintain accurate procurement records and documentationContinuously improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectivenessQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sectorProven experience in roads operations and maintenance (O&M) procurementStrong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain managementProficiency in procurement software and ERP systemsExcellent negotiation and vendor relationship management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of roads operations and maintenance practicesFamiliarity with construction and infrastructure industry standards and regulationsUnderstanding of international procurement standards and practicesProfessional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) preferredAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environmentWillingness to adapt to the local work culture in Doha, Qatar
