We are looking for a highly skilled Product Designer to join our DreamBox Learning team with strengths in interaction design, data visualization, and user engagement. Your expertise in translating complex concepts into sophisticated and compelling user experiences for our DreamBox K-12 products will be pivotal for success. You will work directly with our Research, Product, Engineering, Art and Curriculum teams to collaboratively ensure success in delivering highly interactive and engaging content that is effective and easy-to-use.You will have the ability to drive delight and empathy by partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver new and reimagined features for our user base. An ideal candidate will provide streamlined solutions to complex problems, weigh business goals with user needs, and continuously explore innovative design approaches that ultimately lead to joy and learning for students.In This Role You WillCollaborate with your thought partners to solve problems, understand business goals, and explore innovative design approaches that speak directly to your user base.Execute required design work in an embedded, Agile work stream to complete assigned Jira tasks in the time allotted each sprint.Engage with other members of the Design team in building & reviewing interactive prototypes, wireframes and other artifacts that demonstrate and document functionality.Core Competencies For SuccessProven expertise in developing creative, intuitive, and engaging experiences, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.You have a solid design approach that encompasses key components of product design: Product strategy, user research, feature validation, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, visual/UI design, etc.You are proficient creating interactive prototypes, micro-animations, wireframes and mockups with industry-leading design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, etc.).You communicate both verbally and written with precision, clarity, candor, and respect.You are able to clearly articulate and defend your thinking while maintaining flexibility in the design process.You collaborate and engage in thoughtful critique with your design peers.Credentials And ExperiencePrior experience designing in game development or ed-tech space is a strong plus.Depending on experience, a minimum 3 to 5 years working in SaaS application design in an agile development environment.Legal right to work in the United StatesThis role is designed to be remote.
