JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Title: Web & Graphic Designer Department:Marketing Reports to: VP of Marketing and Sales Supervises Others: NoDOL Status: Full-Time Exemption Status: Salaried; Exempt GeneralSummary: Manages web development for PMI Entertainment Group, drivingwebsite maintenance, performance, and strategic growth. This role willanalyze web trends, implement updates, and own the digital developmentstrategy. The successful candidate will have technical proficiency andstrong collaboration with marketing managers on digital strategies,creative content, digital media integration, and web analytics. JobDuties: Demonstrates and embodies the PMI Entertainment Group Cultureand Customer Service values. Develops and maintains websites for PMIEntertainment Group and its business units, including implementing newfeatures and functionality as needed. Monitors website performance andadjusts as necessary. Analyzes analytics data and report results andrecommendations to the VP of Marketing & Sales on a regular basis.Creates website images, integrates social media on websites, pixelplacement, and the tracking and manipulation of feeds. Ensures thatlayout and design are aligned, and enhances brand and productionstandards in a clear, concise manner. Research web trends and updatesweb development tools accordingly and redesign websites as needed. Leadcompany\'s web and app development strategy. Creates and executes designsolutions and collateral used for marketing, advertising, sales, andother forms of communication. Serves as key member of the digitalmarketing and marketing manager teams. Collaborates to conceptualize anddeliver projects on time. Maintains SEO. Updates and maintains the CMSof all websites. Consults with marketing/sales on digital and socialmedia strategies, including creative asset creation, social mediaintegration, pixel placement, and feed management. Ensures design andlayout standards are met to enhance brand and production quality.Creates and executes design solutions and collateral for marketing,advertising, and sales. Collaborates with marketing/sales and internalclients to deliver projects on time. Uses a variety of design andediting tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, to produce high-impactdesigns. Communicates effectively and expresses positions respectfullyand professionally. Insures understanding of objective, audience, modeof distribution, content, style, tone, and budgetary considerationsprior to starting a design project. Proofs accurately andthoroughly/self-proofs prior to routing. Assures that all materialsleaving the department have been prepared according to customerapprovals and production specifications. Releases final art to chosenprinter in the correct format and configuration needed, proofs pre-pressand schedules delivery or installation. Creates copy and developsheadlines as requested. Attends client meeting as needed. Provides staffassistance to all departments concerning graphic & web arts or printingproblems. Archives finished jobs properly to ensure accessibility offiles for future need. Maintains knowledge of current trends anddevelopment in the field. Responsible for following, observing, andparticipating in all Company related safety programs, procedures, andtraining as well as reporting potentially unsafe conditions. Understandsand follows workplace etiquette and behavior, portraying a professionalappearance. Maintain various company websites (update content, images,update plugins, troubleshoot issues with the websites, communicate withCarbonhouse/FirePixel/etc.) Knowledge, Skills And Abilities RequiredKnowledge of marketing, advertising and promotion programs at a levelacquired through completion of a bachelor\'s degree in fine arts,design, graphic arts, or related field. Four years of experience ingraphic design, and a full understanding of the development andpromotion of adve tising material and marketing tools. High creativity,self-motivation, and forward-thinking mentality is required.Interpersonal Skills Required To Maintain Positive Customer Relationswith clients, local business representatives and a variety of companypersonnel when developing programs and promotional material. Extensiveworking knowledge and skills of the following are required: AdobeCreative Suite (includes Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat),Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint. Thorough knowledge ofdesktop publishing and photo manipulation technologies are needed. Mustbe able to operate a personal computer, scanner, printer, digitalcamera, and standard office equipment such as calculator, copy machine,and telephone. Knowledge of WordPress and basic web programming. OtherExpectations: Frequent mobility and/or sitting or standing required forextended periods of time. Requires eye-hand coordination and manualdexterity sufficient to operate a computer and standard officeequipment. Requires hearing within normal range and visual acuity (withcorrection) sufficient to make artistic judgments about layout anddesign. Creative mind required to originate and implement marketingideas and concepts. Must understand vague and implicit instructions.Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professionalmanner. Must have the ability to give, receive, and analyze information,formulate work plans, prepare written materials, and articulate goalsand action plans. Requires excellent interpersonal skills. Must be ableto make effective decisions in supervisor\'s absence. Normal officeenvironment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature,and the like.
