Company DescriptionWildlife ACT Innovations Pty Ltd is a wildlife tracking technology company that uses field-proven technology, combined with on-the-ground conservation and monitoring experience, to deliver world-class tracking products for the environmental sector. We are seeking a reliable, creative and motivated individual to join our team based in the beautiful Southern Drak town of Underberg, KZN, South Africa. Main ResponsibilitiesAssist in building all wildlife tracking devices, i.e. wildlife collars, tags, pods and sensors, etc.Support the production and management team in programming, configuring & testing devices, remote monitoring & collar troubleshootingMaintain accurate production records General office administrative duties, data entry, workshop inventory, and town errandsOffice & workshop maintenance Run errands as requestedMinimum RequirementsSouth African CitizenMatric (Grade 12) Must live in Underberg or be willing to relocate to Underberg and source own accommodationValid driver's license with their own reliable vehicle (high-rise or 4x4 recommended but not required)Excellent English, communication and writtenKey CompetenciesPassion or prior experience working with power tools and workshop equipmentExcellent computer literacyProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)Abitility to work with a team & independently when requiredBe willing to go out into the field, nature-reserve settings, to accompany Management during deployment of tracking technology We are a small but dynamic team who are devoted to providing quality tracking technology for priority endangered species monitoring across Southern African countries and protected areas.
