Project Engineer – Rail & Civil InfrastructureLocation: Brisbane, QLDEmployment Type: Permanent, Full-TimeWe’re seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a well-established civil contractor delivering key infrastructure and rail projects across South East Queensland. This is a permanent opportunity offering exposure to a diverse range of works within the rail, pavements, and civil construction sectors.In this role, you’ll play a key part in the successful delivery of rail infrastructure projects, overseeing on-site construction activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to specification. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and site teams, taking ownership of planning, quality assurance, cost control, and client interface.Key Responsibilities:Support the planning and delivery of rail and civil infrastructure projects from early works through to completion.Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project milestones.Undertake project engineering tasks related to FRP (Form/Reo/Pour), pavements, drainage, and general civil works.Prepare and review project documentation including ITPs, quality records, and work packs.Contribute to cost tracking, progress reporting, and contract administration.Ensure all works are completed in line with safety, environmental, and quality standards.About You:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer within the rail or civil construction sectors.Strong technical understanding of FRP, pavements, and general civil works.Proven ability to manage site activities, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and deliver under tight timeframes.Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to safety and problem-solving.This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Project Engineer looking for a long-term career within a supportive and growing business that values teamwork, quality delivery, and professional development.If this is of interest, apply now!
