We are dedicated to providing the best customer service by analyzing and suggesting the highest value solutions for our clients.What are we looking for:We are looking for a candidate to work closely with one of our clients that specializes in Doors, Cabinets, Millwork Shelving, Bath Accessories & Interior Trim in the USA market. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a variety of products including doors, door hardware, interior trim, cabinets, millwork, bath accessories, and shelving. This role requires a strong understanding of the materials and craftsmanship involved in these products. The Estimator will collaborate closely with the team in the USA, ensuring that all estimates align with project specifications and client expectations, ultimately contributing to successful project outcomes.Responsibilities and Duties:·       Project Analysis: Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents to understand the scope of work, focusing on doors, hardware, cabinets, trim, millwork, and related products.·       Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment specific to the client's product lines. Utilize industry standards, historical data, and vendor pricing to ensure accuracy.·       Bid Preparation: Compile and organize all necessary documentation for bid proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines, particularly within the US market.·       Collaboration: Work closely with the US-based team, including project managers, engineers, and architects, to gather input, verify information, and ensure alignment with project goals.·       Vendor Coordination: Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors in the US, negotiating pricing and terms to optimize project profitability while maintaining quality standards.·       Project Review: Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits (virtual or in-person as required) to gather relevant information, clarify project requirements, and address any concerns.·       Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all estimates, assumptions, and communications for future reference and audit purposes.·       Reporting: Provide regular updates on estimating progress and cost forecasts to senior management and project teams, ensuring transparency and alignment with client expectations.Qualifications:·       Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interiors or a related field. (Equivalent experience may be considered.). Masters in CPM or CEQS will be preferred. ·       Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.·       Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of materials, labor, and processes involved in manufacturing and installing doors, hardware, cabinetry, millwork etc.·       Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and produce accurate estimates.·       Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to various stakeholders.·       Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.·       Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, particularly with teams based in different locations.Essential Attributes of Acclime Employees·       Insane curiosity·       Excited and enthusiastic about your work·       Embrace and exhibit our values
