The High Voltage Distribution Unit (HVDU) department is at the forefront of developing advanced power distribution systems for electric vehicles. Our product ensures safe, efficient, and intelligent management of high-voltage energy across the vehicle’s architecture, playing a critical role in enabling electrification and sustainability in mobility.The HVDU team operates across multiple international locations, including Hengelo (Netherlands), Sofia (Bulgaria), and Antrim (Northern Ireland). This diverse setup fosters a dynamic and collaborative environment, where cross-cultural teamwork and global perspectives drive innovation and excellence. Working in HVDU means being part of a passionate, multidisciplinary team committed to shaping the future of electric mobility.This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to support and improve the coordination of sample build requests and planning activities within a cross-functional, international environment. The intern will:Coordinate sample build requests and assist in planning tasks to ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables.Communicate with internal stakeholders across regions and cultures, developing strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.Analyze current workflows and identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and transparency of the sample build process.Design and implement a streamlined system or process to support sample build coordination, with the goal of handing over a sustainable and scalable solution to the regular project team at the end of the internship.Collaborate with project teams to validate and refine the process, ensuring it meets operational needs and integrates smoothly into existing practices.Required Qualifications / SkillsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering & ManagementStrong communication and analytical skillsProactive, eager to learn, and detail-oriented+Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Language skills: English required; Dutch preferredThis internship offers a valuable learning experience in project coordination, stakeholder communication, and process development.
