Whether we’re supporting productions, managing data centers, or ensuring system reliability, our teams provide world-class foundational services to a diverse set of technology stakeholders across the company’s businesses.We are seeking a Project Manager to support our Production Technology Operations team. This role combines project management, agile methodology, and technical expertise to drive impactful solutions for users in Studio Production.Responsibilities Of RoleLead multiple concurrent technology initiatives with moderate complexity throughout their lifecycleConduct project intake, use case definition, charter and scope definition, project plan development, capacity allocations, resource assignment, project execution, and post-mortemsPrioritize and escalate critical operational tasks, execute project work plans, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirementsManage day-to-day activities for team members, ensuring blockers are removed, and team throughput is maximizedLead sprint ceremonies, including planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives, and reportingDevelop, organize, and maintain project documentation and artifacts in a clear and accessible mannerTrack and report on project progress (key tasks and milestones) and issues to engineering and program managementMonitor resource time tracking and identify staffing needs to optimize project deliveryLead quarterly planning exercises to establish priorities, objectives and key results (OKRs), roadmaps, and capacity plans that align project outcomes with organizational goalsLeverage business intelligence applications (e.g., PowerBI) to measure project velocity and resource utilization throughout the quarter and drive corrective actions as requiredIdentify, assess, communicate, and mitigate project risksRun Portfolio Reviews that provide executive leadership with updates on portfolio and project healthManage stakeholder expectations and provide them with updates as requestedApply analytics and critical thinking to identify opportunities for streamlining processes and improving the operational efficiency of the teamUnderstand the needs and intricacies of the team, from both an engineering and a business perspective, to knowledgeably provide recommendations and next stepsDeliver clear, engaging presentations and business cases to drive decision-makingMust Haves3+ years of experience in technical project management, utilizing waterfall and agile methodologyExperience collaborating with cross-functional technical teams, including architects, infrastructure and data center engineers, software developers, system reliability engineers, and/or storage engineersProven proficiency with Jira and other project management toolsExperience with process mapping tools (e.g., Miro, Lucid)Direct experience collaborating with colleagues in Microsoft TeamsDemonstrated ability presenting to business executivesAbility to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks, organizing and prioritizing work effectively, in a constantly evolving and rapidly changing environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHighly effective communication (oral, written, and visual) skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of an organization, including tech leads, executives, and vendorsMeeting facilitation skills and an effective team playerNice to HavesExperience working in media, entertainment, or production environmentsCertifications such as PMP or Scrum Master (CSM)Formal education in a technical disciplineProficiency with Atlassian Suites, Airtable, and PowerPointEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experienceThe hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $106,900 to $143,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
