An exciting temporary opportunity is available with the Student Support Request (SSR) team in the Metropolitan South Region.We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to support the operational delivery of the SSR panel process.In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of panel operations, including meeting preparation and structure, stakeholder communication including scheduling and the management of associated data and documentation.Your strong organisational, communication, and collaboration skills will contribute to the efficient and consistent delivery of processes that support schools in meeting the diverse needs of students across our region.About The RoleAs the Project Officer for the Metropolitan South Region, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of the Student Support Request (SSR) panel process and other departmental projects. This position is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to achieving high-quality outcomes for students, schools, and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities AreProviding administrative and operational support to ensure the SSR panel process is prepared, recorded, and communicated effectively.Implementing and maintaining digital tools and systems to enhance service delivery and uphold project documentation integrity.Preparing and presenting reports to inform decision-making processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.Fostering productive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with departmental policies and professional standards.Contributing to staff training and development related to the SSR process and associated systems.About YouTo succeed in this role, it would be beneficial to demonstrate:Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster productive relationships with stakeholders.Sound analytical abilities, with a focus on using data to identify trends and inform decision-making.A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving and process improvement.A high level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.Interested?
