If you are passionate about ensuring software excellence in a supportive environment, we invite you to explore the job description below and apply for this position.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and scenarios for desktop applicationsPerform both functional and regression testing to validate new features and ensure stability across releasesConduct end-to-end testing to ensure the seamless functionality of the application across integrated systemsAnalyze and report test results, ensuring transparency and actionable insightsIdentify, document, and track bugs, working closely with the team to ensure timely and effective resolutionMaintain documentation of testing processes, outcomes, and defect reportsConduct cross-platform testing (Windows, Mac, Linux) to ensure consistent performance and functionalityCollaborate closely with the QA team, developers, product manager, and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure continuous quality improvementsActively participate in the bug triage process to prioritize and manage issuesYou are a great fit for this role, if you have:4+ years of experience in QA or software development1+ years of experience in testing desktop applicationsStrong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processesProven ability to execute test plans with comprehensive coverage at both the product and system levelsStrong analytical skills with the ability to question assumptions and pay close attention to detailAbility to prioritize tasks and work independently to accomplish assignmentsExperience with bug-tracking tools (preferably Jira) and test management toolsFamiliarity with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systemsFluency in English, both written and spokenAbility to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies as neededBonus points:Experience with automation testing frameworks and toolsFamiliarity with Python for scripting and automationExperience working in Scrum environmentsKnowledge of CI/CD processesExposure to Electron.js or similar frameworks
