📝 Contractor Role in a part-time. This is a freelance/contractor position, so you’ll be responsible for managing your own taxes and invoicing.🌍 Fully Remote. Work from anywhere in Europe!!🚀 In a Nutshell We are looking for a QA Specialist to join our digital team and ensure the delivery of high-quality eCommerce websites. Your primary responsibility will be manual testing, with opportunities to contribute to test automation. You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers to validate user flows, functionality, performance, and visual consistency across desktop and responsive versions of our projects.This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in testing web-based products, particularly eCommerce platforms.✨ ResponsibilitiesManual TestingPerform regular and structured testing of assigned eCommerce websites following internal QA procedures (SOP).Validate UX/UI logic, user flow continuity, and overall functionality.Test core website features such as navigation, links, forms, checkout/cart behavior, and SEO-related elements.Review visual accuracy including layout, colours, fonts, spacing, and responsiveness across breakpoints.Performance & Security ChecksConduct basic performance tests (PageSpeed, browser compatibility).Verify essential security elements such as plugin/theme updates and HTTPS redirects.Defect Reporting & CollaborationCreate clear and detailed issue reports in the team’s task management system, including descriptions, steps to reproduce, severity, and priority.Re-check implemented fixes and confirm issue resolution.Communicate with developers and project managers to ensure clarity on tasks and testing timelines.Ensure QA is fully completed before client review, deployment, or release.Process ImprovementCollaborate with the team to refine QA procedures and maintain best practices.Support the introduction of automation where practical (e.g., regression tests).Prioritise urgent testing when core functionality is at risk.✔️ RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in QA (web testing, software testing, or similar role).Experience working with test management or issue tracking tools.Understanding of web performance, browser compatibility, and basic security principles.Ability to analyze functional requirements and create structured test cases.Strong manual testing skills with attention to detail.Basic knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress or similar).Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.English proficiency: C1 level.Experience testing WooCommerce or other eCommerce platforms.Familiarity with responsive design principles and cross-device testing tools.Experience with visual regression or accessibility testing tools.🔈What We Offer:A central role in a long-term project with global e-commerce websites.Flexible working hours and remote-first setup.Opportunities for professional growth.A chance to work on high-impact websites with a strong in-house development and marketing team.
