QA Test & Validation Engineer

Job Description

We are expanding our QA and R&D activities and looking for engineers with hands-on experience in testing electronic devices and systems. This is an opportunity to work on real, industry-grade electronic products used across global energy markets — from early prototypes to certified, mass-produced devices.Whether your experience is stronger in hardware testing, firmware verification, communication interfaces, environmental testing, or measurement & calibration, you will have the chance to contribute in the area that best matches your background.What You Will Work OnYou will be part of the team responsible for the verification, validation and continuous improvement of digital electricity meters and related test equipment. Your tasks may include:Designing test plans and procedures based on specifications, documentation, regulatory standards and market requirements.Preparing, executing and documenting verification & validation tests for new device generations.Testing electronic modules, embedded firmware functionalities and communication interfaces (PLC, RF, LTE, M-Bus, RS485).Performing and supervising laboratory and field tests: mechanical, electrical, functional, communication and EMC.Measuring device performance, stability, accuracy and energy consumption using master meters and calibration toolsAnalyzing results, identifying deviations and preparing structured technical reportsWorking closely with R&D, Production and Industrialization teams during design iterations and certification preparationContributing to improvements in test methodologies, automation, test fixtures and laboratory workflowsWe would love to meet candidates who bring:A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Computing or a similar technical field.Experience in testing embedded hardware and/or firmware (2+ years preferred).Strong understanding of measurement methods, lab equipment and behavior of electronic systems.Familiarity with microcontrollers, digital communication protocols and embedded device operation.Experience in at least one of the following areas:HW testing (electrical, environmental, EMC, module-level testing)FW testing (functional, regression, protocol testing)System-level V&VCertification-related testingExperience in test automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is a plus.Working knowledge of relevant standards (MID, EMC, communication/module standards) is a plus.Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and structured approach to problem solving.Good command of English (technical reading/writing).What You Can ExpectA role where your work has direct impact on product quality, user experience and product certification.Opportunity to specialize in areas aligned with your strengths (HW, FW, environmental testing, automation…).Full exposure to the complete product lifecycle: from early prototypes to certification, pilot series and mass production.Work in a highly collaborative engineering environment with colleagues who are willing to share knowledge.Opportunities for continuous learning, technical development and upward career growth within QA/R&D.Competitive compensation and benefits package.On-site role with flexible working hours.
