In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You will design, develop, and execute automation scripts, perform regression testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements. Proficiency in Selenium or similar WebDriver UI automation tools using Java and TestNG frameworks is essential. Candidates should have experience testing web services and APIs using tools like SOAP UI or Postman, along with working knowledge of SQL and non-relational databases such as MongoDB. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or higher, strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, and experience with performance and security testing. Expertise in UI automation, JavaScript, REST, JSON, and related tools will be considered advantageous.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute automation scripts utilizing open-source tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.Perform comprehensive regression testing to validate bug fixes and ensure system stability.Develop and implement testing processes for new features and existing functionalities aligned with business requirements.Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements.Monitor and report on quality assurance metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts, to track testing progress.Stay current with emerging testing tools, methodologies, and best practices to continuously enhance testing strategies.Participate in development activities as needed, considering DevOps practices to facilitate continuous integration and delivery.Investigate and analyze issues to identify root causes and provide clear explanations and recommendations.Serve as a resource and mentor for team members, sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.BenefitsUnitedHealth Group offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the health, well-being, and financial security of our employees.
