Job Description

Job Responsibilities: Monitor, review, & analyze clinical documentation to assure the highest quality of coordinated care. As a member of the Quality Assurance team, the Quality Assurance Specialist coordinates and completes daily internal reviews of clinical staff documentation, focused reviews, and problem identification. Provides coaching and feedback to associates as necessary. Communicates all important developments and findings from internal reviews to clinical supervisor. Makes appropriate recommendations to program for improvement as necessary. Follows up on programs response to findings, ensuring all findings have been addressed. Provides a report tracking compliance with timeliness as mandated by applicable legislative and accrediting organizations. Responsible for ongoing tracking of all necessary chart documentation. *Assumes additional responsibilities at the direction of the Director of Quality Assurance. Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Required Masters Degree a plus1-2 years of specific Behavioral Health clinical knowledgeProficient in Microsoft Office applications.Previous Experience In Public Sector Behavioral Health Care Preferred.Strong knowledge of OMH 599 regulationsDemonstrated ability to identify trends and conduct root-cause analysesAbility to provide constructive feedback with a focus on improved qualityAbility to communicate in a positive/professional manner both orally and writtenAbility to follow detailed instructions with a high degree of accuracyAbility to work independently; complete tasks in the allotted time frameStrong problem solving skills and decision making skillsAbility to work at multiple locations when requiredAvailable to work some evenings and Saturday Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
