Join us.About The RoleBase is looking to hire a Quality Engineer to support our in-house manufacturing processes, ensuring quality, safety, and reliability of our manufactured components and assemblies. You will work collaboratively with hardware design and manufacturing engineering teams to define and implement quality standards, product and process requirements, and manufacturing quality control plans. Base is a demanding and fast-paced environment where you will work with a highly motivated team on extremely challenging projects.What You'll DoDefine and implement manufacturing quality control plans across our factoryCollaborate with engineering stakeholders to build design and process FMEAs, and drive risk reduction activities to improve manufacturing processesSupport the development of Base’s Quality Management Systems (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QMS into production, engineering, and supply chain processesDevelop and maintain documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and work instructionsAnalyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvementLead corrective and preventive action processes to address non-conformancesSet up non-conformance work streams and rework processes to support manufacturingMonitor and report on key performance indicators related to quality system effectivenessConduct regular audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and internal quality policiesWhat You'll BringBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field3+ years of manufacturing quality experienceStrong analytical skills with proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA)Experience with quality tools such as statistical process control (SPC), measurement systems analysis (MSA), and general statistical data analysisExcellent documentation and organizational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and train staffCertification as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor is a plusOur ValuesWe’re Building a Winning Culture And We’re Looking For People Who Are Up For The Challenge.
