Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through manual and/or automated testing. You will work closely with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements, design test cases, identify defects, and ensure high-quality product delivery.Key Responsibilities:Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical documents to prepare test plans and test cases.Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.Execute manual and/or automated test scripts.Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.Collaborate with developers to resolve defects quickly and efficiently.Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or Rest Assured.Work with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or other tools (based on experience).Ensure product quality meets the required standards before release.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Demos, Retro).Continuously improve testing processes and suggest optimizations.Required Skills:Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.Experience with manual or automation testing (based on level).Knowledge of testing types: functional, UI, regression, smoke, performance (optional).Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium/Cypress/Appium/Playwright).Good understanding of API testing.Basic SQL knowledge to validate data.Familiarity with version control tools like Git.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Skills (Optional):Experience with mobile app testing.Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.Experience with cloud platforms like AWS/Azure is an added advantage.CI/CD knowledge (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
