This role serves as the eyes, ears, and voice of Construction on job sites, bridging communication between customers, Sales, and internal teams. By actively resolving issues, performing detailed inspections, and maintaining high standards, this role plays a critical part in ensuring customer satisfaction and strengthening trust between departments.Key Responsibilities Customer-Facing DutiesVisit job sites where customers require in-person interaction with a construction representative.Represent the construction department when requested by Sales or other teams to be the "face of construction" on-site.Conduct job site investigations when there are construction issues that cannot be resolved without on-site assessment.Diagnose problems and help identify appropriate corrective actions.Self-perform fixes when you're capable of resolving the problem.Collaborate with Customer Success, Construction, Sales, or Leadership teams to respond to escalated or unclear issues.Repair & DocumentationCreate detailed work orders for any required repairs, ensuring:Clear, actionable instructions for the contractor.Step-by-step description of what needs to be completed.Specification of any required materials to complete the job.When capable, self-perform minor repair, to reduce delays and streamline resolution.Internal CollaborationAttend virtual meetings to communicate findings and support planning.Respond promptly to internal and job-related communications.Provide timely updates, risk alerts, and follow-up insights.Field Ownership & AccountabilityUphold company standards and professionalism on every job site.Act as the primary communicator between field conditions and the office team.Escalate safety or timeline-impacting issues with urgency and clarity.What We're Looking ForExperience in residential construction, roofing, siding, and gutters..Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and documentation abilities, interacting with customers with clear communication is paramount in this roleTechnically sound, and able to perform repairs in roofing & sidingGreat customer service skillsRequirementsValid Driver's License with a clean driving recordAbility to work 40 hours a week; Monday through Friday during specified hours; some overtime may be neededHigh school diploma or equivalentExcellent customer service skillsAbility to lift 45 lbsAttention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work outside and continuously stand/walk for extended periods of timeAbility to work independently and confidentlyThe BenefitsCustomizable medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance plans to suit your needsComprehensive 401(k) retirement planEmployee Assistance ProgramAbundant paid time off9 paid holidays per yearMonthly communication stipendYear-round team-building events and social outingsCompany Truck ProgramPerformance-based incentive tripsEmployee Referral Program Robust technology and tools to help you thrive in your roleAnnual sales training and development programsCareer path growth/leadership opportunitiesOpportunities to volunteer and give back to causes that are important to you through our Advocate Cares program.
