With a commitment to improving operational efficiency and customer engagement, BevLogic empowers beverage companies to grow their businesses both online and in-person.Position OverviewThe Controller at BevLogic will play a central role in driving financial and operational excellence across the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this individual will be a key member of the leadership team and work closely with company executives, ownership, and Board members. The Controller will lead financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance functions, while also contributing to broader operational initiatives and strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment and is eager to be a hands-on leader in a growing, PE-backed company.Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & AccountingLead all financial reporting activities, including monthly closes, budget-to-actual analysis, and preparation of financial statements.Act as the primary liaison with external accounting firms, auditors, and tax advisors.Maintain and improve financial processes and internal controls across accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks).Build annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the executive team and private equity owners.Oversee accounts payable and manage AR collection processes with support from team members.Analyze cash flow and support treasury functions to ensure liquidity and effective risk management.Operations & AdministrationSupport the Chief Executive Officer on operational initiatives, including insurance policy management, vendor contract oversight (in coordination with legal counsel), and company-wide KPI reporting.Provide oversight and coordination for select HR functions, such as payroll (e.g., ADP), benefits administration, and 401(k) contributions.Manage onboarding for new employees and contractors, ensuring all employment documents, payroll setup, and insurance requirements are completed accurately and timely.Administer systems related to commissions, contractor payments, and state payroll compliances.Collaborate with internal teams to manage and resolve customer payment issues and improve AR processes.Continuously identify and implement process improvements and software solutions to enhance operational efficiency.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA strongly preferred5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or financial operationsProven understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping and GAAPExperience working in ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks required; Bill.com, Brex, Anrok, and/or HubSpot experience is a plus)Strong project management skills and the ability to operate with minimal oversightExcellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skillsComfortable interacting with stakeholders across all levels of the organizationFamiliarity with small-to-mid-size business operations, SaaS revenue models, and recurring billingExperience managing contracts and vendor relationships is a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary + performance-based bonus (commensurate with experience)Health insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and other standard benefitsPaid vacation, holidays, and wellness daysProfessional development opportunitiesA collaborative and fast-paced environment with significant upward mobilityWhy You’ll Love Working at BevLogicOpportunity to play a pivotal role in a newly acquired, growth-focused company backed by Performant CapitalWork at the intersection of technology and the beverage industry—two dynamic and rapidly evolving sectorsJoin a mission-driven, close-knit team that values innovation, accountability, and customer successEnjoy a supportive culture, flexible work environment, and direct access to executive leadership
