We are now looking for an R&D Expert in Flotation Collectors Formulation to join our team in China.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site R&D position focused on developing and optimizing flotation collectors for the beneficiation of phosphate ore, lithium, and other industrial minerals. The successful candidate will:Lead the formulation and development of new flotation collectors and blends.Conduct lab-scale and pilot-scale flotation tests to evaluate performance.Analyze collector performance under various ore types and processing conditions.Collaborate with sales and technical service teams to support customer trials and provide product recommendations.Work closely with production and supply chain to ensure scalability of new formulations.Stay updated with the latest market trends, technologies, and competitor products.Document and report all R&D activities, ensuring compliance with company standards.Qualifications🎓 Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing, or related field.💼 Minimum 8 years of experience in flotation reagent formulation and mineral processing (phosphate, lithium, or similar ores).🔬 Strong knowledge of collector chemistry (fatty acids, sulfonates, hydroxamates, quaternary amines, etc.).🧪 Hands-on experience in froth flotation testing, pilot plant work, and reagent evaluation.📊 Ability to design experiments, interpret data, and translate results into actionable formulations.💬 Strong communication skills in English (Other languages a strong plus).🤝 Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, technical service, sales).🌍 Open to occasional travel for customer support and field trials.What We Offer💰 Competitive salary and performance-based bonus.🏥 Benefits package including medical coverage.🔬 Opportunity to work on cutting-edge R&D projects in the mining chemical sector.🌍 Exposure to international markets and leading mining clients.📈 Career growth in a fast-expanding global company.📍 Location: Riyadh, KSA (on-site, with occasional travel for trials)💡 Job Type: Full-time
