Our client is a leading medical device manufacuture, is a global leader in the innovation, development, and commercialization of state-of-the-art robotic-assisted surgical systems.We are seeking a pioneering and strategic Regional busines leader to launch and lead our surgical robotics business in the Russia & middle east region. This role is designed for a senior commercial leader who will be responsible for building our market presence, driving revenue growth, and establishing our brands as a key player in the global surgical robotics landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the comprehensive commercial strategy for market entry and sustained growth.Business Development & Sales: Identify, qualify, and close strategic deals with key opinion leaders (KOLs), top-tier public and private hospitals, and healthcare groups. Manage the entire complex sales cycle for high-value capital equipment.Channel & Partnership Building: Evaluate, select, and manage potential distributors or partners. Forge strong relationships with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and key industry stakeholders to navigate the local healthcare environment.Team Building & Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing local commercial team (including sales, clinical applications, and marketing) in the future.Clinical Engagement: Work closely with our clinical specialists to organize live surgeries, product demonstrations, and workshops to build clinical confidence and drive adoption among surgeons.Market Intelligence: Continuously analyze the competitive landscape, pricing, market trends, and customer needs to inform strategy and provide feedback to global HQ.Cross-Regional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with international teams in marketing, training, R&D, and regulatory affairs.Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 8-10 years of proven successful experience in selling high-value capital medical equipment (e.g., surgical robotics, laparoscopic towers, advanced energy devices, navigation systems, MRI/CT scanners).A demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding multi-million dollar sales targets.Deep understanding of the Russian healthcare system, hospital procurement processes, tender regulations, and funding mechanisms.Established strong network of relationships with key decision-makers in top surgical hospitals (e.g., Hospital Directors, Head of Surgery, Procurement Heads).Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills.Fluent in Russian and English (both written and spoken).Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a strong plus.Willingness to travel extensivelyQualifications & Experience (Highly Preferred)Direct experience in selling surgical robots is a significant advantage.Experience in managing distribution networks.Experience in launching new medical technology products or start-up environments.Knowledge of adjacent markets (CIS, Middle East, or Eastern Europe).How to ApplySubmit your CV with a cover letter to: ellenlan@kingfisherchina.com
