Company ProfileOur client, a leading UK Listed Infrastructure organisation, is seeking a strategic and commercially astute finance leader to oversee financial operations and performance across the Middle East. This role will shape the regional finance agenda, driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence through robust financial insight and disciplined execution. As a key member of the regional leadership team, the successful candidate will partner closely with business leaders to translate financial intelligence into strategic direction, ensuring sound capital allocation, strong cash management, and sustainable value creation.RoleThe Regional Finance Director will lead all financial and accounting activities across the region, acting as a strategic partner to the Regional Managing Director and the wider leadership team. This role is responsible for elevating financial maturity, enhancing commercial impact, and driving value creation to ensure finance operates as a forward-looking enabler of growth and transformation.Bringing deep financial expertise and strong commercial acumen, this leader will analyse operating performance and market dynamics to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and support decision-making. The position will further enhance governance, working capital performance, and forecasting accuracy while ensuring full compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and IFRS. This individual will foster a culture of business ownership and performance management, strengthening finance capabilities and leveraging data and systems; including mastery of the relevant ERP environment to deliver actionable insights that shape strategic direction.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a trusted advisor to operational leaders, bringing financial insight to decision-making at the point of impact.Translate complex financial data into clear, outcome-focused business strategies.Identify trends, risks and opportunities early to influence commercial and operational priorities.Champion value-based management, embedding frameworks that drive regional performance.Contribute to long-term strategic planning and execution across the region.Optimise revenue outcomes through pricing, contract structuring and commercial governance.Translate customer insight, competitive analysis and market conditions into commercial strategy.Support evaluation of business opportunities with a balanced view on financial risk and value creation.Implement frameworks to measure and articulate customer value delivery.Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, taxation, risk management, working capital and investment analysis for the region.Ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance of financial statements aligned with IFRS, local regulations and internal control standards.Drive process improvement and a more analytical approach to performance reporting.Lead scenario planning, stress-testing and financial modelling to support strategic choices.Strengthen capital allocation discipline including M&A, divestitures and portfolio optimisation.Actively manage regional overheads and operating costs.Build and develop a high-performing finance organisation aligned to future business needs.Enhance business control, forecasting, project control and commercial finance capabilities.Provide coaching, talent development and succession planning across the finance community.Candidate10–15+ years in senior finance roles within global organisations; listed company experience advantageous.Minimum 5 years leading finance in the Middle East with strong knowledge of local regulations and business practices.Industrial or project-based environments preferred.Demonstrated success implementing ERP systems, finance digitalisation, cash excellence and process optimisation.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or Business; Chartered Accountant / CPA strongly preferred.
