Research Scientist – AI and 6G TestbedGeorgia Tech ECE is launching a new large scale AI and 6G testbed, an ambitious platform that brings together advanced wireless systems, edge intelligence, and non terrestrial networks into a living laboratory for the future of connectivity. We are seeking a Research Scientist who is excited to build, operate, and expand this testbed, lead applied research, and mentor PhD students working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and wireless communications.This position is ideal for someone who thrives in hands on research. You will work directly with software defined radios, real world network deployments, and cloud edge orchestration systems to design and run experiments that make AI driven communications and adaptive spectrum management possible. You will collaborate closely with faculty, students, and partners across industry, government, and national laboratories who share a vision for creating intelligent, learning based networks.The successful candidate will hold a PhD in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field, and will have demonstrated experience in wireless communications, AI or machine learning for networks, reinforcement or distributed learning, or large scale systems design. You should be comfortable bridging theory and experimentation, and interested in leading both technical development and collaborative research.In this role, you will mentor students, help shape Georgia Tech’s growing Center for Wireless Intelligence, and work with external partners on projects that define the next generation of wireless systems.
