Job Title: Retail ManagerDepartment: RetailLocation: Erbil/IRAQ – with field visits across IraqReports to: General ManagerJob Purpose:To lead and oversee all retail operations for Jibal Zone across Iraq, ensuring sales growth, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives. The Head of Retail is responsible for directing retail teams, optimizing store performance, and developing policies and strategies to strengthen Jibal’s retail presence.Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Leadership & PlanningDevelop and implement the overall retail strategy and annual retail plan.Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance standards for all zones and showrooms.Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to enhance retail performance.Lead retail expansion projects, including new showroom openings and renovations.2. Sales & Performance ManagementOversee all JiBAL Zone and ensure the achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.Monitor sales reports, KPIs, and store performance to identify opportunities for improvement.Implement sales programs, promotional activities, and pricing strategies in coordination with the Marketing team.3. Retail Operations ManagementEnsure all showrooms comply with company policies, SOPs, and visual merchandising standards.Maintain high operational efficiency, including stock availability, cash control, and customer service protocol.Conduct frequent field visits to evaluate store performance and operational gaps.4. Leadership & People ManagementLead, coach, and develop the Retail Zone Managers, Showroom Supervisors, and Sales Advisors.Oversee recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and succession planning within the retail team.Ensure employee discipline, attendance control, and compliance with HR policies.5. Customer Experience ManagementEnsure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service across all showrooms.Handle escalated customer issues and implement corrective actions to improve service quality.Collaborate with the service center teams to enhance after-sales experience.6. Reporting & CoordinationProvide weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports to top management.Work closely with Finance, HR, Marketing, Warehouse, and Service departments to ensure smooth operations.Participate in management meetings and contribute to strategic discussions and decisions.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.Master’s degree is a plus.Minimum 7–10 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in electronics or telecom.Proven experience in leading multi-location and multi-brand retail operations.Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.Ability to travel between cities frequently.Strong understanding of retail KPIs, sales processes, and customer service standards.If you are interested in applying or relocating to Iraq-Erbil, please submit your CV to Jobs@jibal.iq with the subject line “Retail Manager”.
