SHOWROOMS DIRECTOR - LUXURY RETAIL Our client is an iconic, luxury brand who is dedicated to becoming the leader in their sector. The brand’s position is built on a prestigious heritage and unmatched craftsmanship, with a network of luxury showrooms across the UK, USA and Europe.THE ROLE The Showrooms Director will be an integral member of the senior management team, playing a central role in driving the brand’s ambitious growth plans. They will hold accountability for sales performance, leading the Showroom Teams across the UK, USA and Europe, to deliver revenue targets. As a strategic and commercial leader, they will build and develop sales strategies to target HNWIs and wholesale accounts which will require combining strategic vision with hands-on commercial expertise to develop and execute effective sales strategies, cultivate and strengthen relationships, and guide sales teams in achieving revenue objectives.The Showrooms Director will introduce a superlative clientelling strategy, that builds long-term, personalised relationships with customers through proactive one to one communication to create a VIP experience, moving the business beyond reactive customer service to anticipate needs and build loyalty. Deliver the highest operation standards, ensuring world class customer service standards are consistently achieved and that customer feedback is actively used to drive continuous improvement which will ensure high levels of customer retention, focus, and satisfaction.Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Sales Team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Establish a programme for ongoing training, team building, and motivation.Promote collaboration across all business functions—including marketing, production, design, service, delivery, and finance—to maximise efficiency and provide a seamless, integrated customer experience.Be a brand ambassador, networking on behalf of the brand at international events to expand our client base. Key areas of focus include expansion in the US and Europe. This position necessitates regular international travel. DESIRED EXPERIENCE Expertise in luxury brands, high-value retail showroom sales, and dealing with high-net-worth clients.A profound understanding of how to operate effectively in the luxury sector, with a real feel for clients’ needs and wishes, and how to satisfy these. Demonstrable leadership experience with a proven ability to drive business growth both domestically and internationally within a relevant sector.Exceptional leadership, charisma, and commercial acumen, with a track record in coaching and mentoring teams.Confident and skilled networker, highly client focused and able to demonstrate an entrepreneurial networking approach to successfully developing businesses. Strong commercial awareness and strategic development abilities, capable of delivering sustained ROI for the company.Proven success in driving and closing sales, both personally and through leading a team.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence at all organisational levels.An inspiring and motivated individual with presence, a superlative taste level and sense of style, who is able to be a brand ambassador.
