Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Develop, manage, and evaluate compensation and benefits programs, including STIP and LTIP.Conduct compensation analysis, market benchmarking, and scenario modeling to support strategic decisions.Lead job evaluation processes (Mercer IPE, Hays, or Korn Ferry) and ensure internal consistency and job equity.Partner with Finance, HRBPs, and senior management to align reward structures with business objectives.Develop and manage compensation policies while maintaining strong governance and compliance standards.Produce reports, dashboards, and insights using HR analytics tools to support decision-making.Oversee annual compensation cycle processes: salary review, bonus calculations, and incentive administration.Prepare clear communication materials related to reward programs for management and employees.Ensure compliance with labor regulations, taxation rules, and internal company standards.Initiate and lead improvement projects related to compensation systems and process digitalization. Collaborate with site HR teams (if applicable) to support compensation structures relevant to mining operations — mining experience is a plus.Core CompetenciesStrong knowledge of total rewards, compensation strategy, and incentive program design (STIP & LTIP).Advanced analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills.Strong understanding of job evaluation methodologies (e.g., Mercer IPE, Hays, Korn Ferry).Business acumen and financial literacy to align incentives with company performance.Stakeholder management and ability to communicate complex reward concepts clearly.High attention to detail, governance mindset, and strong data accuracy.Experience working in fast-paced, evolving organizational environments.Technical SkillsProficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (advanced modeling, pivot tables, macros beneficial).Familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar).Ability to build dashboards/reports using HR analytics tools (Power BI/Tableau is a plus).Understanding of regulatory requirements related to compensation and taxation.Experience working in fast-paced, evolving organizational environments — mining industry experience is a plus.
