profitable and scalable business unit with strong strategic relationships and sustained revenue expansion.The Sales Country Manager will be responsible for generating GTV, revenue, market penetration, strategic alliances, and the consistent growth of corporate clients, MSBs, and fintechs.This role requires commercial leadership, deep understanding of the Panamanian market, disciplined funnel execution, and the ability to represent EFY with corporates, banks, regulators, and key ecosystem stakeholders.We are looking for a high-impact commercial leader with strong executive presence, full ownership mentality, accountability, and proven ability to scale high-volume transactional businesses in Panama.Key ObjectivesPosition Panama as a profitable business unit, achieving ≥ USD $40M monthly GTV and ≥ 1.3% gross marginReach 100 active corporate clients with monthly recurring operationsIncrease average client ticket by ≥ 20% vs Q1 baselineBuild a robust and predictable commercial funnel with strong conversion KPIs and accurate forecastingDevelop and lead a high-performing commercial team (2 local agents)Establish at least 3 strategic alliances with chambers, associations, or integrators in key sectors (COMEX, agriculture, logistics, etc.)Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the commercial strategy for Panama aligned with the CROManage the full commercial cycle: prospecting, discovery, value proposal, negotiation, closing, and expansionBuild and optimize a disciplined commercial funnel using CRM (Zoho) as the single source of truthRepresent EFY within the Panamanian ecosystem: banks, MSBs, fintechs, chambers, regulators, integrators, and industry associationsLead, train, and oversee the local commercial team ensuring KPI-driven performance and activityEnsure EFY’s value proposition is correctly implemented for all clientsCoordinate closely with global teams: FX Desk, Operations, Compliance, Product, and TechnologyMonitor critical KPIs (GTV, revenue, ticket size, conversion rates, margin, active clients) and implement action plansTranslate market feedback into product improvements, pricing insights, and strategic adjustmentsExperience & Technical Expertise Commercial Leadership & Market ExperienceCommercial leadership in B2B/B2B2C/B2C financial services, FX, cross-border payments or fintech: Experience managing full-cycle sales with corporate clients, importers, exporters, MSBs and fintechs, negotiating with C-level and closing high-impact dealsDeep understanding of the Panamanian regulatory, operational and competitive environment: Proven experience operating in Panama with strong connections across banks, MSBs, chambers, associations and key industry sectors Funnel Management & CRM DisciplineAbility to build and manage a robust commercial funnel: Strong discipline using CRM (Zoho or similar), managing conversion KPIs, and maintaining rigorous pipeline and forecasting practicesExperience leading commercial teams focused on GTV and revenue Product & Financial KnowledgeFX cross-border, international payments, ramps and corporate/MSB productsPanama’s financial ecosystem: banking, payments, fintechs, MSBs and integratorsKPIs & financial performance: GTV, revenue, take-rate, margin, client activity, ticket size and client profitability Commercial Execution SkillsB2B consultative sales: discovery, needs assessment, value proposal, negotiations with C-level, and account expansionUnderstanding of corporate onboarding flows from a commercial perspective: timelines, requirements and conversion-impacting stepsTechnical & Soft RequirementsEducationBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, International Business, Economics, or related fieldsPostgraduate studies (MBA or specializations in finance, international trade, fintech or commercial leadership) are valuedWork Experience5+ years in B2B commercial roles in financial services, fintech, payments, FX, MSBs, or corporate bankingProven experience managing full-cycle sales with high-volume corporate clientsExperience leading commercial teams or business units in PanamaExperience creating strategic alliances and engaging directly with C-level executivesSpecific KnowledgeUnderstanding of the Panamanian financial ecosystem, local regulations, chambers and key actorsDeep knowledge of B2B consultative sales, funnel execution, and CRM discipline (Zoho or similar)Functional knowledge of FX cross-border, international payments, and corporate/MSB productsAbility to interpret commercial KPIs: GTV, revenue, take-rate, margin, conversion
