Job Title: Sales ExecutiveDepartment: Sales & OperationsReporting Line: Head of SalesEmployment Type: Full-Time1. Position SummaryThe Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new customers and the retention of existing accounts across HORECA and Modern Trade channels. A critical component of this role is the management of the full order-to-cash cycle, requiring the candidate to be proficient in utilizing Mylk Labs digital infrastructure and effective in managing accounts receivable.2. Detailed ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sales & Business DevelopmentExecute a dual-strategy of "hunting" for new accounts and "farming" existing relationships to meet monthly sales targets.Expand market presence for core brands (Oatside, Vitasoy) within target sectors including premium cafes, hotels, and retail supermarkets.Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell new product lines to increase Average Order Value (AOV).Supply Chain & Logistics CoordinationDelivery Management: Plan and organize daily delivery schedules to ensure on-time fulfillment of customer orders. Coordinate with drivers or logistics partners to ensure goods are dispatched efficiently.Documentation: Generate Delivery Notes linked to specific Sales Orders or Invoices within the ERP system. Ensure physical copies are signed by clients upon receipt and properly filed as proof of delivery.Import Assistance: Support the operations team with import procedures. This includes handling necessary documentation, and tracking incoming shipments.Financial Management & CollectionsTake full ownership of the payment collection process, ensuring invoices are settled within agreed credit terms.Monitor outstanding receivables and proactively follow up with clients to minimize overdue aging buckets, specifically targeting payments over 60 days.Collaborate with the finance function to ensure accurate reconciliation of payments against invoices.Digital Operations & ComplianceMaster the internal ERP system to independently generate Sales Orders, Sales Invoices, and Delivery Notes.Ensure 100% data accuracy in customer master data and order processing to maintain operational efficiency.Adhere to company workflows regarding pricing, discounts, and credit limits within the system.3. Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Professional qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management is advantageous.Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales capacity, preferably dealing with B2B clients in the F&B industry.Technical Skills: Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, mobile applications, and cloud-based software (experience with ERP systems is a plus).Mobility: Ability to travel extensively for client meetings and sales runs.Key Competencies:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Results-oriented with a focus on financial health (revenue and collections).4. Compensation StructureBase Salary: LKR 50,000 – 100,000 per month.Variable Pay: Commission structure based on the achievement of sales targets and collection KPIs.
