SAP Basis Database Administrator

Provide SAP Basis Support during SAP development and SAP production phase: Support the necessary SAP hardware and system software environment specifically in High Availability environment (i.e. HACMP); Administer user profile and authorization; Maintenance of the SAP system on the development and production server; Manage SAP correction and control system; Support technical integrity of the SAP system and application software; Support the helpdesk team in technical issues related to SAP; Troubleshoot and resolve SAP related technical problems; Monitor SAP performance and perform basic tuning and configure SAP systems to maintain performance; and Develop operational system procedure (e.g. backup, restore etc). Provide Database Administration (DBA) support during SAP development and SAP production phase : Support SAP Basis Consultant and assist CAP Application Team on Database related task; Support maintenance of current HANA database for the SAP system on the development and production server on High Availability environment; Manage and apply patches for database as necessary; Keep the technical integrity of the database; Supporting the helpdesk team in technical issues related to database; Troubleshoot and resolve database problem; Monitor database performance and perform basic tuning and configure database to maintain performance; and Develop operational system procedure (e.g. backup, restore etc.). Perform database backup and restore using IBM Spectrum Protect and Cristie.Minimum Qualifications1.
