As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure environment, and deliver exceptional customer service through positive communication. This position requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities. What You'll Do Control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies. Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts. Provide customer service to clients by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the food and beverage environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential threats and identify any security-related concerns. Maintain detailed records of access control activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Communicate clearly and professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal management regarding any security-related matters. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
