Position Summary:Join SGX Group as a Senior Associate, Financial Reporting, and play a pivotal role in our Finance & Corporate Development team. Based in Singapore, you will be responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements for SGX Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with IFRS and SGX reporting standards. You’ll support quarterly and annual SGXNet announcements, liaise with external auditors, and contribute to the enhancement of financial reporting systems and processes.In this role, you’ll also handle regulatory and management reporting, including MAS reports, tax filings, and monthly management reports with detailed variance analysis. You’ll drive process automation initiatives to optimize efficiency within the finance function.Key ResponsibilitiesGroup Consolidation & Financial ReportingPrepare consolidated financial statements for SGX Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and SGX reporting standards.Support quarterly and annual SGXNet announcements, including preparation of financial statements and annual reports.Liaise with external auditors during year-end audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.Assist in the implementation and enhancement of group financial reporting systems and processes.Assist in valuation work for year-end SGX Group audit purposes.Regulatory & Management ReportingCompile and submit MAS reports, tax filings, and regulatory surveys as and when required.Prepare detailed monthly management reports, including variance analysis, cost of funds, and liquidity management.Support capital adequacy and liquidity reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.Process AutomationIdentify and implement process enhancements in financial reporting, budgeting, and operational procedures to optimise efficiency.Support automation initiatives and streamlining projects within the finance function.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, with prior group consolidation work experience strongly preferred.Candidates with Big 4 audit experience are highly encouraged to apply.Good understanding of IFRS and SGXNet reporting.Experience in financial institutions or listed companies is an advantage.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.High integrity and willingness to learn and grow within the organization.Preferred QualificationsChartered Accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA) or equivalent professional certification. Experience with financial reporting applications and major ledger systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).Familiarity with process re-engineering and automation tools.
