Senior Associate, Project Account Receivable

Come and join OTIS today and be part of the Forbes 2024 World's Best Employers!Join the Otis family where collaboration, innovation, and empowerment help each individual and the company reach new heights.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with project team to gather necessary information for payment progress claims submission or as outline in the contractFollow up customer’s certificate and submit the invoices to customerAddress questions or concerns clients may have in regards to progress of claims/billingReach out to customer with outstanding balance to prompt payment and manage collection effortsProvide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of project invoices and outstanding receivablesFollow up with customers on projects retention release or outstanding claimsReview the credit worthiness of new equipment/modernization customers and recommend appropriate payment termsLiaise with bank to issue performance bond and ensure that contract requirements are adequately metCoordinate with other departments and responsible for follow-up and resolution PB issuanceRequirementBachelor's Degree/ Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting or relevant disciplinesMin. 3 years of relevant contract accounting experience, prior experience in Construction industry is highly preferredStrong understanding of project management principles and billing methodologyMeticulous and attention to details to ensure accurate invoicingProficient in ERP (JDE Edwards) would be added advantageousExcellent communication skills and customers managementGood analytical skills to identify billing issues and potential risk
