Job Description

A reputable shipping company focused in the dry bulk market are looking to expand their Accounting department and are looking for a Hire Specialist.We are currently partnered with a global, leading dry-bulk owner and operator who are expanding their Marine Accounting department in Singapore, looking for their next Hire Specialist to join the department. Working closely with the Operations, Finance and Commercial departments, the position would be responsible for the timely and accurate calculation and execution of hire-related financial elements of the time charter contracts. ResponsibilitiesReview fixture recaps and charter parties related to payment of hire. Communicate with worldwide Operations and Commercial teams. Prepare hire statements and maintain account overviews for key clients. Arrange payment/invoices for trip & period TC in/out fixtures. Maintain contact with external stakeholders such as brokers, owners and charterers.To apply for this role you will ideally hold 2-years+ experience in post-fixture accounting and have a keen eye for detail and preferably IMOS exposure.
