Finance Manager/Senior ManagerAbout the Client:Our client is a fast-growing, China-led technology company backed by top-tier venture capital investors. Their solutions are rapidly scaling across global markets, and are building a high-performing team to support their next phase of expansion. As part of their growth, they are establishing a strong finance function to support operational excellence, compliance, and strategic decision-making. They are looking for their first KEY Hire in Finance to build the function in Singapore.Role OverviewThe Finance Manager/Senior Manager will play a key role in building and leading core finance and accounting operations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment. You will oversee end-to-end finance processes—including tax, budgeting, AP/AR, general ledger, treasury management, and transfer pricing—while shaping scalable systems and controls.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & ControlsEstablish and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Build and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and operational workflows to support a rapidly scaling business.Lead the implementation and optimisation of finance systems and tools.Budgeting & ForecastingDrive the annual budgeting process and develop rolling forecasts to support business planning.Partner closely with business leaders to provide financial insights, variance analysis, and scenario modelling.Tax & ComplianceOversee corporate tax, indirect tax, withholding tax, and other statutory requirements across relevant jurisdictions.Coordinate with external advisors to ensure accurate tax filings and compliance.Develop tax planning strategies to support efficient business structure and growth.Treasury & Cash ManagementManage cash flow, liquidity planning, bank relationships, and treasury operations.Ensure adequate controls over payments and cash movements.Transfer PricingDevelop and maintain transfer pricing models and documentation aligned with group policies and regulatory requirements.Work with China headquarters and external advisors to ensure compliance with cross-border transactions.Strategic ProjectsLead finance set-up for new markets, legal entities, or business models as the company expands.Support fundraising, investor reporting, and board-level financial presentations.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA preferred.6–10 years of relevant experience, ideally in tech, high-growth, or China-headquartered companies.Strong technical knowledge across tax, accounting standards, treasury, and compliance.Experience working with cross-border finance structures and transfer pricing is highly valued.Proven track record of building finance processes from the ground up.Hands-on, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with China-based teams and global stakeholders.To apply, please send your latest resume, in word format outlining your relevant experience and qualifications with current & expected salary, to ong.irene@platformnco.com.
