Senior Business Development Manager – Research & Insights (Finance Data)Location: Dubai, UAESELECTED is delighted to be working with a global research and insights organisation specialising in financial data and market intelligence to appoint a Senior Business Development Manager to join their growing Middle East team.In the role you will both lead on Sales/BD strategy and also manage a team. Therefore prior experience in both is a requirement. Role OverviewThe Senior Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving growth across the GCC, developing strategic relationships with financial institutions, corporates, and government entities. The role requires a consultative sales professional who understands complex data solutions and can translate technical insights into tangible business value for clients.Key Responsibilities• Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities across banks, investment firms, insurance companies, and other financial institutions• Build long-term strategic partnerships with senior stakeholders across finance, strategy, and research functions• Understand clients’ needs and propose tailored data and insight solutions to support decision-making and risk management• Lead end-to-end sales cycles from initial engagement through to negotiation and contract closure• Collaborate closely with internal teams in research, product, and marketing to enhance client engagement and retention• Stay up to date with market developments in finance, data analytics, and regulatory trends across the GCC• Represent the company at key industry events and conferencesCandidate Profile• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is highly preferred• Minimum 6–10 years’ experience in B2B business development within research, data, financial technology, or analytics solutions• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and corporate finance principles• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-value accounts• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior decision-makers• Experience working within the UAE or GCC market is an advantageRemunerationAttractive base salary plus performance-based commission and benefits package offered.For more details or to discuss similar opportunities, please contact SELECTED Recruitment.
