Details Management of behalf of our client is looking for a Senior Claims Analyst who will be responsible for a portfolio of claims across Property, Casualty and Specialty lines of business and collaborate across the underwriting, actuarial, operations, business information management and finance teams to ensure accurate and efficient data input, capture and processing in a timely manner across various claims transactions.Duties and responsibilities:With oversight from the Head of Claims, evaluate, manage and recommend expense and indemnity reserves on claims for all lines of business.Provide quality assurance as to claims data capture and analysis across all business lines written by the company.Investigating, analyzing, and evaluating coverage, liability, and damages, within best practices.Booking of claims data within the system of record.Working with legal and operations to ensure that claims data requirements are captured appropriately.Liaising and engaging appropriately with other reinsurers' claims personnel, brokers, lawyers, loss adjusters and other claims experts.Assist legal and operations teams with preparation for internal and external audits, including claims file documentation and review.Thoroughly document claim files with all relevant factual and evaluative information in compliance with company policies, best practices and applicable regulatory authority where necessary.Preparation of information and recommendations for the reserving committee.Participation in claims audits.Work with the Head of Claims to proactively drive claim development and look for creative ways to achieve optimal results on every file.Preparation of claims reports for review by the Head of Claims, executive management, underwriting and claims committee and the board.Providing technical advice, training, and guidance to junior team members.Other ad hoc duties as may be assigned.Qualifications and experience:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., business, finance, or accounting) or equivalent.Possession of, or active pursuit of, a relevant professional designation in re/insurance or operations (i.e., CPCU, ARe, ACII) would be an asset.Minimum 7 years of claims experience in the re/insurance industry.Experience handling claims across the company’s business divisions — specialty, casualty and property.Experience of claims in multiple jurisdictions including Europe, Asia and USA preferable.In-depth knowledge of XOL contract structures and analysis required.Developed investigation, analysis and negotiation skills.Experience of claims audits and reporting of results.Excellent attention to detail with high standards for accuracy and completeness.Strong analytical skills with strategic thinking capabilities.Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Power BI and Power Query.Collaborative approach when working with colleagues at all levels.Ability to adapt effectively to change.For further information, please do not hesitate to contact Deepika Kumaraswamy or Donnie Francis via recruitment@details.bm or (441) 297 6000.Please be assured that we are dedicated to upholding the highest level of confidentiality.
