Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Commercial Planning Specialist, you will be play a critical role in shaping strategic business initiatives and ensuring commercial success. Your core responsibilities include market analysis, revenue forecasting/modelling, and performance tracking. You will also serve as a bridge between data-driven insights and actionable commercial strategies, enabling product innovation, growth, and profitability.Strategic And Business PlanningDevelop and conduct business planning models to support revenue forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.Track and evaluate the performance of strategic initiatives, providing updates and recommendations to product owners and senior management.Market And Customer IntelligenceConduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities, risks, and evolving consumer needs.Analyze B2C segment performance and user behavior trends to identify levers for growth and retention.Monitor telecommunications industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancementsProactively identify new business opportunities based on customer insights and data.Product Performance and InnovationCollaborating with product teams to analyze user engagement, drop-offs, and behavior using dashboards, analytics tools, and surveys.Translate product insights into recommendations for enhancement or new offerings.Growth and commercial StrategiesLead cross-functional planning to develop and implement initiatives aimed at customer acquisition, ARPU growth, and digital adoption.Contribute to business case development for new commercial initiatives or partnerships.Reporting & CommunicationCreate compelling presentations and reports for executive leadership, highlighting trends, performance drivers, and actionable insights.Build and maintain dashboards that track product, segment, and revenue performance KPIs.Job RequirementsEducationBachelor's degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.Experience3+ years of experience in business planning, customer insights, financial analysis, or strategy development, preferably in the telecommunications industry.Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling.Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex ideas to a non-technical audience.Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools.Knowledge of telecommunications industry trends and regulations is a plus.Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.SkillsTechnical skills: Proficient in data analysis and deriving valuable business insightsStrong communication skills: ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders from multiple departments.Learning agility: Ability to learn fast about new technology and convert technical features into customer benefitsAnalytical Skills: high level of analytical and quantitative skills, possesses the ability to use information/data and various metrics to develop an informed and fact-based conclusion.Strong financial analytical capabilities that are used to further develop in-formed product strategies, which subsequently improve product performanceFocus: ability to keep focus on busy environment and ability to prioritize multiple interrelated tasks at same time; ability to organize, plan and lead projects from conception to completionStrong business sense: ability to identify and articulate key reasons customers buyPersonality: The ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
