Senior Design System Designer

Senior Design System Designer (Figma + React) Company: Affirm (Global FinTech) Location: Onsite(Colombia or Mexico) Type: Full Time Start: ImmediateWe are hiring a Senior Design System Designer to help build and maintain Affirm’s core design libraries. This role focuses on Figma systems, scalable components, design tokens, and clear documentation. You’ll work closely with design and engineering to ensure consistency across mobile and web.Responsibilities • Build and refine reusable Figma components and libraries • Translate brand changes into system tokens (color, type, spacing, motion) • Maintain consistency across iOS, Android, Web • Create documentation in Figma and Notion • Partner with engineers to ensure accurate implementation • Support teams during feature rollouts • Apply WCAG accessibility standardsRequirements • 4+ years in Product Design • 1+ year working specifically in Design Systems • Expert Figma skills (components, variants, tokens, libraries) • Familiar with workflows for React or React Native • Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards • Strong communication and documentation skills • Eye for detail and consistencyNice to Have • Tokens Studio, Zeroheight or Storybook experience • Experience working in large-scale design environments • Interest in AI tools for design workflowsWork Setup • Full time • 40 hours per week • Remote role • Open only to candidates in Colombia or MexicoHow to Apply - Apply via LinkedIn as well as send: • Resume • Portfolio or Figma link showing design system work to vinaya@tholons.com Note: If your portfolio only shows UI screens without component or system work, this role will not be a fit.Include answers in your application:If you are in Mexico: Current annual salary in MXN, expected annual salary in MXN, notice period or earliest start dateIf you are in Colombia: Current annual salary in COP, expected annual salary in COP, notice period or earliest start date
