SS&C prides itself on hiring diverse, honest, dynamic individuals, who value collaboration, accountability, and innovation to name a few.What You Will Get To Do:Represent the Bermuda office with clients and regulatorsLiaise with investment managers, insurance managers, investors, brokers, custodians, lawyers, and external auditorsEnsure a high level of client satisfaction and staff performanceManage the day-to-day operations of the Bermuda office, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of fund administration services to all clientsMonitor staff workloadsStaff training and development; recruiting new employeesWorking with the management team to set goals and complete annual performance appraisalsCoordinate and drive business development opportunities primarily in Bermuda and identify cross-sell opportunities for other SS&C product linesCollaborate with senior management and other SS&C teams to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnelProvide guidance to internal SS&C teams on Bermuda Monetary regulatory items related to company’s licensesPrepare company board and management reportsWhat You Will Bring:At least 8 years’ experience in a leadership role managing a licensed entity within the financial services industrySubstantive knowledge of fund administration functions, client operations, fund and insurance structures, an asset classes including hedge, ILS, P/E, and reinsuranceProven ability to manage an office and drive strategic initiativesExperience with leading marketing presentations, developing sales strategies, and completing RFPsExperience liaising with the Bermuda Monetary Authority, managing on-site visits, and a solid understanding of Bermuda fund administrator and insurance manager policiesA recognized professional accounting designation (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA)Working knowledge of US and/or International GAAP pronouncementsProven ability to provide high quality professional service, organized, strong commitment to meeting deadlines in a demanding work environmentExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical skills with attention to detailThank you for your interest in SS&C!
