Senior Document Controller – Quality Assurance & Controls (Asia Pacific)Location: Sydney HQ, Responsibility: Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan (with future market expansion)Employment Type: 6-Month Secondment (Freelance or Employed by SP Data Centres – Flexible)Start Date: ImmediateOur Client: Voted Best Employer in Australia 2024About the OpportunitySP Data Centres is seeking a highly skilled Senior Document Controller to be seconded into Asia’s largest data centre business. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and managing documentation standards across a rapidly expanding APAC footprint.Initially a 6-month engagement, this role is designed with a view to transition into a full-time position within the client’s organisation. You’ll be embedded within the Quality Assurance and Controls Department, supporting operations across multiple geographies and future markets.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development, organisation, and maintenance of quality documentation across APAC regions.Ensure compliance with internal and external standards (e.g., ISO, local regulations).Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Sydney, Melbourne, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, and emerging markets.Drive innovation in document control processes, including the integration of AI-powered tools and automation.Establish and maintain version control, audit trails, and secure access protocols.Support internal audits and quality reviews with accurate and timely documentation.Train and support regional teams on documentation best practices and systems.What We’re Looking ForProven experience in document control within large-scale infrastructure, construction, or data centre environments.Strong understanding of Asia-Pacific business culture and regulatory landscapes.Experience with quality assurance frameworks and document management systems.Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, especially in leveraging AI and digital tools.Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams.Why Join?Work with a top-tier client recognised as Australia’s Best Employer in 2024.Be part of a strategic transformation in quality and compliance across Asia.Opportunity to transition into a permanent leadership role.Flexible engagement model – freelance or employed by SP Data Centres.
