Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.Your New Role:The Sr Editor – reporting to a supervisor, Post Production – will be responsible for create various content based off an overall idea with or without a script, highly creative and capable of developing a campaign without assistance, contributing creative ideas in sessions, and incorporating feedback throughout the approval process. While working closely with producers and other creatives, the Editor will leverage their extensive understanding of the WBD brands and workflows. Have the ability to customize motion graphics with or without a toolkit. Needs to be able to perform color correction of BTS content. Will be responsible for the versioning and tagging process, of promotional content for Linear, digital and streaming, TQC, and delivery whit high accuracy.This position is designed for a well-rounded post production video editor with a keen eye and passion for craft editing.Your Role Accountabilities:CREATIVE SKILLSCreate compelling short form multiplatform content for mid and high-profile promotional marketing and/or programming across Warner Bros. Discovery’s portfolioAct as a trusted contributor to the brand partners throughout the entire project lifecycle from ideation to final delivery and manage brand partners’ expectations accordinglyCollaborate with Sound Design, Design, and other post production entities and artistsTECHNICAL SKILLSDemonstrate an expert understanding of editing within Adobe Premiere, after effect, Photoshop, Davinci Resolve and AVID – use of shortcuts, speed and efficiency, and overall understanding of the different capabilities the software has to offer Demonstrate an expert understanding of various media and file formats; understand when to leverage the Media Operations Specialist team for their expertiseProvide troubleshooting and creative solutions when problems arise; understand when to leverage engineering and management resources for supportPerform operational tasks efficiently and reliablySOFT SKILLSCollaborate effectively, embrace innovative ideas and workflows, and bring creative ideas to the tableAbility to follow several projects simultaneouslyAbility to quickly adapt and pivot based on project deadlines and brand partners’ requests Anticipate the brand partners’ needs based on previous knowledge of the WBD brands, projects, and requestsAbility to contribute valuable information towards project workflow developmentAdhere to site-specific operational workflows and protocolsAssist in the development of the edit assists and associate editors by providing feedback, guidance, and mentorshipQualifications & Experiences:At least 5-7 years of experience editing/Graphics/color correction in a post production broadcast environmentExperience working with promotional marketing content, BTS content and digital contentMust have extensive knowledge of editing/graphics/color correction applications including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Davinci Resolve, Photoshop, Avid, and third-party pluginsAbility and flexibility to work varying shifts as neededIntermediate level in Portuguese and EnglishNot Required but preferred experience:Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film or Television with a focus in post production and/or video editingHow We Get Things Done…This last bit is probably the most important!
