With operations in Malaysia's Iskandar Development Zone, Fujian, and a premier R&D center in Shanghai, Unitex is committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions to meet customer needs worldwide.In This Role, You WillTake ownership of sales growth for our circular knitting machine portfolio across India and Latin America. You will develop and execute market‐entry and expansion strategies, manage key accounts and distribution networks, deliver order bookings, and position Unitex as a preferred partner in capital equipment for textile manufacturers.Key Responsibilities:Define and implement a go-to-market strategy for India and select Latin American countries: prioritise markets, evaluate competitive landscape, identify channel partners/distributors and large-scale end-users.Own full sales cycle for major capital equipment deals: lead qualification, value proposition delivery, commercial negotiation, contract closure, hand-over to service/logistics.Build and maintain strong relationships with agents/distributors, large textile mills, brand owners, and textile industry associations in India/LATAM. Provide support, training and monitoring for channel partners.Conduct regular market visits, technical presentations, factory trials, customer-feedback sessions and tradeshows. Demonstrate machine features, benefits, ROI and differentiate from competitors.Preparation and submission of sales forecasts, pipeline reports, region-specific budget tracking, and sales performance analysis.Collaborate with internal functions (engineering, spare-parts, service, logistics, product-management) to ensure customer satisfaction, delivery timelines, commissioning and after-sales support.Monitor market trends, competitor product launches, regulatory changes (especially in LATAM) and feed insights into the regional strategy and product-roadmap.Represent the company at industry events/trade fairs (for example textile & knitting machinery exhibitions in India/LATAM), deliver presentations, lead customer workshops.Requirements and Skills:Bachelor's degree (Business, Engineering, Textile Technology, or equivalent).Minimum 2-3 years (preferably more) of sales in the capital equipment field, ideally textile machinery or industrial machinery, with strong results.Demonstrated experience and success in India and/or LATAM markets, ideally with exposure to channel/agent management.Good technical knowledge (or strong willingness to learn) of circular knitting machines, their application in textile manufacturing, and ability to articulate ROI and differentiate our machines from competitors.Excellent negotiation and closing skills, comfortable dealing with senior management of textile mills, brand owners and channel partners.Experience managing agents/distributors in a region, channel-development mindset.Strong resourcefulness, customer‐service mindset, cross‐cultural communication skills, ability to adapt to diverse markets (India, Middle East, Africa).Willingness to travel extensively (50%+), across India, Middle East and Africa, sometimes with short notice.Proficiency in English; bonus if you have Arabic, French, Hindi/Urdu or other regional language skills.Excellent planning, organisation, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.What We Offer:A strategic role in a growth region for circular knitting machine capital equipment in India & LATAM—high potential, high impact.A Singapore‐based hub with global support and the opportunity to travel, engage with global customers, attend major exhibitions and expand your professional network in textile machinery.Competitive salary and performance bonus, travel allowances and field support.Development opportunities: visit manufacturing plants, attend international exhibitions, access to the latest machine training and product-roadmap briefings, and upskilling programmes.Career development potential: as the region grows, you may step into more senior leadership, regional management roles.
