Job TitleSenior Executive, Sales Planning and InsightsReports ToManager, Sales Development & AnalyticsPosition SummaryResponsible for driving the achievement of sales goals through data-driven planning, market analysis, and strategic insights. The role involves analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, monitoring performance against targets, and providing actionable insights and reports to Senior Management to support strategic business decisions.Key AccountabilityConduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging sales opportunities and industry trends, providing actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-making.Develop, execute, and continuously refine sales plans and strategies that are aligned with organizational objectives, market dynamics, and revenue growth targets.Monitor, track, and analyze sales performance, identifying performance gaps, risks, and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions as needed.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to marketing, revenue management, and operations, to ensure alignment of initiatives, maximize commercial impact, and enable seamless execution of sales strategies.Prepare regular reports and insights to Senior Management on sales performance, market trends, key commercial metrics, and potential growth opportunities.Identify and evaluate new sales opportunities while regularly assessing the effectiveness of existing strategies, proposing innovative approaches to drive business growth.Support decision-making through commercial insights, including scenario modeling, forecasting, and trend analysis, to influence strategy and achieving commercial objectives.Qualification & Areas of ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.1–3 years of relevant work experience in sales planning, business analysis, or related functions, preferably with exposure to regional or multi-segment sales operations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large volumes of data and translate market insights into actionable plans that drive revenue growth.Demonstrated business acumen and commercial awareness, with the ability to understand market dynamics, assess business opportunities, and contribute to strategic decision-making.Knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements, as well as awareness of industry trends, the competitor landscape, and best practices in sales, is an added advantage.
