Senior Financial Analyst

Position SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in driving financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This position partners closely with business leaders to provide insights on financial performance, identify trends, and recommend actions that improve profitability, efficiency, and overall financial health.Preferred AttributesExperience supporting cross-functional business units or multiple brands.Background in process improvement or system implementation.Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior leaders.Strong business acumen and initiative to drive results.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior year.Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability.Partner with department leaders to provide financial guidance, performance insights, and data-driven recommendations.Support the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.Conduct ad hoc analysis to evaluate business opportunities, cost optimization initiatives, and strategic projects such as M&A, capital investments, or pricing strategies.Enhance existing reporting tools and processes through automation and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or ERP systems).Collaborate with accounting during month-end close to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing key business decisions.
