🌟 Contract Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) - 18 Months 🌟We are proactively recruiting a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) for an 18-month contract position that our client will be opening in the near future. This is an office-based role that requires a strong blend of technical accounting expertise, analytical skills, and business acumen. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving insightful financial performance reporting and providing critical support for strategic initiatives, including M&A activities.Key Responsibilities 📊The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for a range of high-impact financial activities, including:Month-End Close & Variance Analysis:Lead the preparation and review of monthly financial results.Perform detailed and complex variance analysis of actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods.Identify key drivers and trends, investigating significant deviations, and providing actionable insights to management.Reporting & Commentary:Develop, prepare, and deliver timely and accurate financial reports and presentations for executive leadership.Provide clear, concise, and professional commentary explaining financial performance, risks, and opportunities.Ensure all reporting adheres to internal and external accounting standards.Audit Support:Act as a key liaison during internal and external financial audits, preparing necessary schedules, documentation, and explanations.Assist in resolving audit queries related to financial data and reporting.Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Assistance:Provide financial support for M&A transactions, including due diligence assistance, financial modeling, and integration planning support.Assist in the valuation of potential targets and the financial impact assessment of deals.Ad-Hoc Projects:Support various strategic and operational finance projects as required.Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting efficiency.Required Qualifications & Experience 📝Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:Designation: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent recognized accounting designation is mandatory.Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive, relevant experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, or a similar finance role.Audit Background: Proven audit experience gained from working in a public accounting firm (Big Four preferred) or equivalent internal audit experience.Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas) and experience with large-scale ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
