The individual will be looked upon as a key business partner to the team and be responsible for ad-hoc projects requiring analytical, presentation and leadership skills.Responsibilities And DutiesPartner with business leaders to ensure visibility into key financial and business drivers; facilitate effective decision-making on headcount planning and resource optimization; and identify cost savings and incremental revenue opportunitiesPerform month-end expense close process by applying a working knowledge of accounting rules and financial concepts and ensure integrity and accuracy of expense reportingProduce timely and accurate financial reporting review packages, including KPI reports, monthly presentation of variance analysis to business function, board reporting, quarterly product reviews, budget, etc.Update spend forecast monthly in collaboration with business partners and conduct analysis on risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendationsTake the lead in annual budget for expensesEnsure the development of and maintain process documentationDevelop ad-hoc projects from large cross functional projects to smaller projectsQualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related fieldFive years of finance analysis and P&L management experienceExcellent writing and oral communication skillsExperienced in working with business partner and multiple stakeholdersAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills requiredFinancial modeling and strong analytical skills requiredExperience in forecasting and budgeting tools; SAP, NetSuite and DOMO systems experience a plusExperience in revenue analysis and business intelligence system a plusAbility to effectively multi-task projects with competing priorities; make decisions under pressure and work under tight deadlinesSelf-starter with ability to anticipate issues and proactively provide creative solutionsAbility to work independently and within various teamsAbility to effectively mine data and draw relevant results on business performance, but more importantly be able to provide recommendations for improvement or business changeWHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO?Join a global team and experience a dynamic, collaborative work environment that fosters innovation and growth.Remote work model offering flexibility to balance work and life.Access to development programs with strong support and mentoring to help you grow and advance within the company.Equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, inclusivity, and creating a welcoming environment for all employees.Attractive benefits package including health & life insurance, referral rewards, and generous leave policies to ensure a healthy work-life balance.Avid is an equal opportunity employer.
