Job Title: Senior HR SpecialistJob SummaryThe Senior HR Specialist plays a key role in delivering strategic and operational human resources support. This position oversees core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, and policy development. The Senior HR Specialist serves as a trusted advisor to management and staff, ensuring that HR practices align with organizational goals and promote a positive workplace culture.Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent AcquisitionLead end-to-end recruitment processes for mid- to senior-level positions.Develop job descriptions, screening tools, and selection criteria.Conduct interviews and support hiring managers in final selection.Manage onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.2. Employee RelationsAct as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and conflict resolution.Provide guidance on employee rights, responsibilities, and HR policies.Investigate and resolve workplace issues in a fair and timely manner.Foster a respectful and inclusive workplace environment.3. Performance ManagementSupport the implementation and monitoring of performance appraisal systems.Provide coaching to managers on goal setting, feedback, and employee development.Identify performance gaps and recommend improvement plans or training needs.4. HR Policy & ComplianceEnsure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.Review, update, and implement HR policies and procedures.Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.Support audits and compliance reviews as required.5. Training & DevelopmentAssess training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.Organize workshops, onboarding sessions, and skill-building initiatives.Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.6. HR Operations & ReportingOversee HR systems, employee databases, and HRIS functions.Prepare HR analytics and reports (turnover, recruitment metrics, etc.).Support salary reviews, promotions, and HR planning activities.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.5–7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior-level role.Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and HRIS systems.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CIPD, PHR/SPHR) are an advantage.Core CompetenciesStrategic thinkingConflict resolutionDecision-makingCoaching and mentoringTime managementAdaptabilityTeam collaboration
